Mayor Graham Richard convinced Verizon to deploy fiber to the premise on the assumption it would spur innovation and business... has it worked?
Do we need to understand how to leverage this better?

I don't think the majority of the citizens of Fort Wayne realize the potential in a business sense when it comes to fiber optics. Frankly, many in the City of Fort Wayne do not. In order to have a green Fort Wayne, the utilization of people who work from their homes is a necessity. Less driving, more telecommuting can all be accomplished with the wonderful system Fort Wayne now has in place.
